This chapter discusses the highlights and shortcomings of a series of Yiddish lectures held in Philadelphia, which have been arranged by the Arbeter Ring's National Education Committee. It notes that that almost all of the lectures were given in Yiddish on social, political, and contemporary issues, and very few, almost none, were on natural science. Whether or not it was due to the lack of lecturers in the field or if it was because of the organizers' own shortcomings are left unclear. Furthermore, there is also a lack of lectures on the subjects of law, government, city government, and the like.
